Four of the following to be on TV?

Bolton Wanderers v Cardiff City
Southend United v Hull City
Arsenal v Coventry City
Stevenage v Everton
Wigan or Milton Keynes Dons v Crystal Palace
Chelsea v Stoke City
AFC Bournemouth or Burton Albion v Liverpool
Birmingham City, Bristol Rovers or Crawley Town v Swansea City
Sheffield United v Norwich City or Fulham

I'd bet on Chelsea, Liverpool, Sheffield United and one of the others

If you are a TV executive, how do you factor in whether or not the premier League sides can be bothered to show up? They can't be very pleased this morning with West Ham as they send the club a cheque for their 'appearance' at Nottm Forest.

As ITV showed their lack of imagination, I reckon of the above they will probably go for Bolton who used to be a big club v Cardiff the prem club.

Mk Dons v Palace would be good as would with a bias from me of Southend v Hull.

I would laugh my head off if AFCW went down along with ColUwe and We**ham.

I like the look of the ties in bold. Not only are strong PL teams away to smaller sides, but you expect they will at least make the effort to field a half decent team.

I'd have thought that Southend v Hull and Stevenage v Everton were almost certainties for TV coverage. Probably the game at Sheffield United as well.

Amazingly boring choices re the Arsenal and Chelsea matches - Southend v Hull was a cert in my view but was ignored as were a couple of other matches.

They certainly haven't gone for the 'magic of the cup' and surely the FA can't be happy with the choices with the competition needing a big lift at present

Looking at the draw, I can't see what other options the TV companies have...they are running

Blame it on the Allens.

I'd say it will be a banker ticket reduction, I can't see many wanting to see a 3rd Division team on a Friday night. Coventry will probably take a few though.

Agree, they have done it before and since season tickets are not valid it would be plain daft not to do it again.

Yes I'll be hoping to do the Emirates on the cheap, no doubt Coventry will bring a few as their fans have plenty of money for away games as they don't do 'home' games, I can't imagine Gooners being too thrilled about a Friday night game that they should win at a stroll

Can't imagine Coventry fans being too thrilled about a Friday night game in London either.

I find this a strange choice for a televised game. Almost as strange as Chelsea v Stoke.....

If you're going to/been to a Hampshire Premier League match, I'd really appreciate you filling in a questionnaire - available in the Groundhopping/General section, or just PM me for a copy. Thanks.

Yes - a top team at home to a middle-ranking team. Meh....

It's something that doesn't attract me, especially since you can see the same fixture as a league game, presumably with stronger sides too.

Having said that I was impressed with the strength of the team Chelsea put out at Derby on Sunday, unlike West Ham's.

At Arsenal you get 7 Cup Tie Credits as part of your season ticket. These are only valid for the FAC and The Champions League / Europa League.

For the League Cup Season Ticket holders can buy their ticket at £10 for the Lower Tier and £20 for the Upper Tier as long as the other team agree to this price.

Er not really

it's been designated a Category C game, same as their games v Norwich, Southampton, Hull, Cardiff & Swansea

Prices range from £26-£51 with a 'booking fee' of £2.10 PER TICKET & a 'postage fee' of £2.20 per booking, so an extra £4.30 per ticket if buying just one which is frankly a fecking disgrace

Yes they do all wear striped jumpers & a mask in the ticket office

Dare say WHU would be thinking along the lines of cut price entry for the semi 2nd leg but they have probably sold em all at full price before tonights debacleSly
