Or Eurostar to Lille and a coach trip to Southampton. I don't know if Thomas Cook actually does either of these. I must confess to knowing very little about them - I don't think I even used any of their shops before the internet era began. In any case, I don't see why Chelsea fans going to Lille would need to book with TC when they could easily book direct with Eurostar, either by phone or on-line.

Thomas Cook did lots of hospitality packages to major sporting events. There would have been no flights involved in what you saw.

This is assuming that Chelsea fans live in the London area and not at some secluded beach resort in Cornwall or Monaco.

Greetings card chain Clintons looks to be in trouble and are looking at some shop closures.

Greetings card chain Clintons looks to be in trouble and are looking at some shop closures. I'm not greatly surprised, how many people send greeting cards nowadays? All seems to be done through social media. We receive upwards of 50 cards every Christmas. Doubt whether many were bought at Clintons though.

Not surprised Clintons are struggling when there are other card shops out there with cards of a similar quality at a much lower price.

Very sad news... Oxford's independent Boswell's Department Store is to close next year after over 280 years of trading in the city centre, with the loss of seventy jobs... https://www.bbc.co.uk/...oxfordshire-50574858
