Clydebank Can't Post or Reply Privately

Forgive my lack of knowledge but whatever happened to former SFL club Clydebank?

Struggling with enormous debts, it was bought out by newly formed Airdrie United in 2002 and relocated to Airdrie. Officially and legally, the extant club now known as Airdrieonians is a continuation of Clydebank.

Although most of the supporters of Clydebank FC (who play in the West Region Super League Premier Division) would claim continuity of history with earlier incarnations carrying the Clydebank name.

A bit like AFC Wimbledon.

And the newly re-named Airdrieonians.

I kind of boils down to whether a club's identity is carried by its structures or by its supporters.
