Folded (again) after gaining promotion to the Premier Division. Not sure why they didn't ask to start lower down with a new team as the manager left/was removed I think.

Royal Oak (Kempston) have also folded
Woburn Lions were Woburn Athletic last season
Wilstead were Wilshamstead last season

Oops missed them off. Dunton have indeed gone although Moggerhanger United are beign run by those involved with Dunton Reserves last season. St Josephs Reserves are no more I believe although not sure if they've just gone back to the Luton District & South Beds FL.

Interesting about Woburn Lions, I wonder if they'll use the pitch at Aspley Guise next season as the juniors did.

Most of their teams played at the Village Hall last season too. Some of the older ones used the Cricket Club in Aspley Guise.

Adults I guess will stay at the village hall next season, just adding a link in with the Youth for progression and additional support I guess.

Noted that on the Beds League Website the following note of caution appeared!

Snippets from last night's Annual General Meeting.Due to as many as 14 clubs still not fully registered with the league/Beds FA for season 2013-14 the formation of divisions will be delayed until 1st July 2013. Any club not fully compliant by that date will have deemed to have resigned from the league.However, the Premier Division is expected to have 16 clubs, Division One 15 clubs and the lower divisions around 14 each. These will include the late acceptance of Mid Beds Tigers who will play their home games at Sandye Place School. The league will commence season 2013-14 on Saturday 31st August 2013.Fixture list available from Mid-July.

Premier Division and Division One now both going with 15 teams.

The League asked us if we would consider promotion, after consultation we decided it wasn't the right way to go given the turbulant nature of last season (despite a good finish) and the lack of a stable squad.

From the Beds League website;

Premier Division supported by Sportsform down to 14 clubs for season 2013-14.It now seems likely that the Premier Division supported by Sportsform division will for season 2013-14 now be down to just 14 clubs following the shock withdrawal of AFC Biggleswade. Whilst the league is still in correspondence with the club, it seems unlikely unless they can find a manager plus an influx of new players the club will fold after just one season.

From Houghton Regis, I presume thats where they take their name from - currently playing in Dunstable though I think.

Its their first season with a Saturday side - but the club were playing as a Sunday side last season in the North Home Counties Sunday Football League - where they still have a side in the top division!

I'm under the impression that the houses in Moore Crescent were built on top of the old pitch, and that the current pitch is different, but as it's all on the same site...

More importantly Westoning have now pulled their first team out of the league for this coming season.

Latest on Westoning F.C. from the Beds League website;

All change at Greenfield Road.Having given notice that there would be no Westoning FC this season, things have now changed at Greenfield Road. Westoning will indeed be remaining in membership but taking up the place in Division Three allocated to Westoning Reserves, playing their home games at Greenfield Road. However, Westoning Reserves have been renamed AFC Harlington and will ply their trade in Division Two whilst playing their home games at Harlington Playing Fields.

From the Bedfordshire League Website

With the Bedfordshire Youth Saturday league now not running a U17/U18 section due to a lack of teams. Athletico Europa have been granted a late entry into the Bedfordshire County Football League and will start their life in Division Four on Saturday 14th September 2013.
