Operation Yewtree are still naming more people who they are interviewing under caution then later arresting and bailing. How many will get to court ?
Based on an allegation in the Sun !
Always thought his records 'Bluer than Blue' and 'Willy Willy'' were a bit iffy !

With songs like "Two Little Boys" and him always banging on about his "extra leg" surely no surprise

Can you see what it is yet?

who next? Dame Edna?

Not a laughing matter I know but throws up a lot more questions than just were some of these people a pervy?

I would n't condone abuse. But I have a fractious relationship, I remember things very differently from them, slap on the backside - whatever - I don't know - they reckon I'm not remembering right - thing is I don't always - the memory is a strage thing.

People who impose themselves on people or take advantage of people should be punished - I just worry how much is - revisitionist history- and how much truth

My wife's just turned 58 and me only 44, when does it get unacceptable?

She did take advantage of me (youth) - but then needed a lay down and reminding (once or twice)

Very good point and well made...had a few disturbing moments recently thinking back
to when I was 16/17/18 Shocked

Then again the majority of women I've ever broached the subject with, have revealed that they
met the cherrypopper at 15.

And I'm not rich and famous (ish).

Mine too is of a similar age...it's like sleeping next to a strip of velcro and don't
even go there when it comes to strange dreams that always involve swimming.

Thank God for the downstairs bed and BT Vision...

Why are they announcing who's being investigated? If they have a credible witness/witnesses, charge him and let a jury decide on guilt or innocence.

I'm coming to the view that in cases of such accusations the accused should have the same anonymity as the victim until a guilty verdict has been brought in.

Agreed. I came to that view a long time ago.

If any of the ones who have been arrested are found innocent the mud will still stick to them for years, and in some cases may overshadow their career when we come to remember it. In some cases that may not be such a bad thing Tongue

If you're going to/been to a Hampshire Premier League match, I'd really appreciate you filling in a questionnaire - available in the Groundhopping/General section, or just PM me for a copy. Thanks.

I agree that if somebody is arrested but released without charge it should remain a private matter between them and the police. If they are charged it obviously becomes public knowledge as courts are open to the public.

Spot on...The DPP say they only recommend charges be brought when there is a realistic chance of a conviction ok i have no problem with that but when these cases come to court and get thrown out(Stuart Hall,Michael Le Vell)and god nos how many more are going to come up then something isnt right, its not in the public interest, its a witch hunt against innocent people whos reputations will always be tarnished

I tend to agree, without wishing to speculate on the guilt or otherwise of Messrs Hall and LeVill I do wonder how much evidence there is to support such prosecutions or should that be persecutions? Or is just that Savile escaped justice and they're determined to 'get' another celeb?

Certainly gets the thumbs up from me too...
There's a former BBC exec, whose name I can't recollect, and he was told
recently that he wouldn't be facing any charges, yet was still named.

Life still ruined by a constant wave of finger pointing..human nature I'm afraid..
