Oscar Pistorius Can't Post or Reply Privately

It would appear that he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Nothing could be worse than Colin Murray and it seems that the BEEB might have belatedly realised that.

Well, you can have this geordie knob right away.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l21Iv5nFBqg

This pathetic imitation of Sid Waddell has started polluting some of the football coverage over here. Thankfully I can't get the channel he works for but his voiceovers have now started cropping up on Fox's highlights show....which isn't that good at the best of times.

A tosser of the first order, makes Colin Murray sounds like Ken Wolstenholme.

Disability or not, murder or not, am I the only one for who this bloke went down in my estimation after he threw that incredible sulk, after losing one of his races at the Paralympics?

Yeah, cracking role model for our petulant, spoilt brat footballers that was.

I do, both my wife and I find the Afrikaans accent rather intimidating and scary - this song often pops in my head when I hear the accent, mind most of them look bloody scary.

Ah yes, accents. I used to play football with a Saffa and and a guy from Waterford. The former, apart from his accent, could also be a bit opinionated, but he was always first to the bar and always got stuck in putting the posts up and washing the kit etc. The Irishman's accent seemed to charm everyone so far that they didn't say a word when he didn't pay his subs, turned up late, never bought a round etc etc. It's funny how often people don't look beyond the surface.

That's a good point, a relative of mine has a part time office job in a young offenders centre and one or two of the 'trusted' inmates sometimes help out around the office, there was one who had a strong west country accent which was seen as 'charming' and he was seen as a generally trustworthy whilst another who had a scouse accent was seen as distinctly 'dodgy' and not to be trusted.

Nice one that - although I've a sneaking suspicion that some sort of bargaining will be done and he'll do a few years for manslaughter in the least dangerous prison in South Africa.

By the way, my mother was very interested in the case because Reeva Steenkamp's funeral took place in Walmer, the suburb of Port Elizabeth where my mother grew up (the funerals of her parents also took place there.)

Shot her deliberately. What burglar goes into the bathroom of a house, the least likely place to find anything worth taking, and whats more has the good grace to close the door behind him...?

I suspect he will get off. 1) Because he is famous and mainly 2) Because there are no real witnesses, the main (only) one didn't even live in the same block.
