What's the situation regarding programmes/teamsheets? Is it still compulsort in League rules?

At Wealdstone they were handed out at half time. Nothing at all at Hayes & Yeading United last Monday.

Sorry Mishi only just seen your message, yes it is still compulsory, either a team sheet or a programme.

Hayes & Yeading have sent me a team sheet that was provided by them with their result sheet.

Well I can assure ONE HUNDRED PER CENT that no team sheets were made available to any spectators on the night.

Just because a team sends one in doesn't mean one is done on the night...just print a couple off afterwards for the officials & League, to prevent a fine.

I have no idea where we get our gates from, I think a certain someone whose job it is to ring in the details just makes it up, though to be fair there were at least fifty, mostly non-paying players from both Staines & The Hamlet Academy set-ups. I will have to start doing 'headcounts' to compare! ;-)

At least we're doing a team sheet for games.

I must say though, on a serious note, as a supporter (albeit one who is currently on the Club committee) I thoroughly enjoy the standard of Capital League football. I watched most of our matches the last time we were in it too. It's extremely rare to see a poor game in it. Much more preferable to Suburban League games.

Nice to hear, am i right in thinking that Gavin Rose is your 1st Team Manager?
Think I have seen it in Rich DHFC's signature. Don't worry, I am not trying to catch you out, Managers & Assistant Managers are allowed to register themselves. Our Assistant Manager at Witham played at the end of the season (three seasons ago) and the Secretary at Staines Town got a final 10 mins at the end of the season, just wondered whether you were going to feature on the last day for the last 2-3 minutes.Wink

Yes Gavin Rose is our First Team manager.

As for me featuring..well if I paid enough money, I suppose they might...but I only waddle on for a few minutes in the Supporters' Team, never mind the Reserves! ;-)
