Pontyclun appeal again Can't Post or Reply Privately

The Welsh League website confirms that Pontyclun are again appealing against relegation, and so the Division 3 fixtures cannot be finalised;

No, but if previous years are anything to go by it will be early August before we know anything.

According to the South Wales Amateur League forum, Pontyclun lost their appeal on Friday (20th), but have a further ten days to lodge a further appeal Crazy

Interesting to see this morning that the Welsh League website is showing the first two fixtures for Llantwit/Porthcawl as postponed. The WL appear to have given up hope of this being resolved before the season kicks off.

There's a post from Llantwit on the SWAL forum stating that the result of the latest appeal will be known on Monday.

Welsh League message board reporting that Pontyclun have lost their latest appeal, but nothing yet on the official Welsh League website.

... or are they? The midweek match that either llantwit or Pontyclun were due to play at Bettws has been postponed, and the Welsh League website still has 'B' for all their other fixtures! When will it end?

All the time, effort and presumably money that Pontyclun put into their appeals every year - surely if they spent that on the first team they wouldn't finish in the relegation places in the first place Unsure

And all this because Llantwit Major's cover is slightly off centre?

Pontyclun have now decided against going to arbitration and are therefore relegated to the South Wales Amateur League and Llantwit Major promoted to the Welsh League
