Groundhopping in the prettier parts of Scotland	Can't Post or Reply Privately

I am planning a walking weekend in Scotland and would like it to meet the following criteria

· Must be accessible by public transport
· Must have stunning scenery
· Must have decent local amenities / place to stay
· Must have a football club nearby (ideally an SFL or Junior League club)

Any suggestions warmly appreciated.

You say that, and I'll grant you that the scenery is fantastic there, but the view of the football there isn't... and the matches there are often thoroughly uncompetitive...

I personally much prefer Rothes from that front... also very useful for the whisky trail too...

Fife. Great scenary, plenty of Junior clubs about and Dunfermline, Raith, Cowdenbeath in the SFL.

Fife. Great scenary, plenty of Junior clubs about and Dunfermline, Raith, Cowdenbeath in the SFL.

And that's the only time you'll ever see "Cowdenbeath" and "stunning scenery" in close proximity
