Europa League 10 July

Nomme Kalju 0 v 2 Khazar Lankaran 7 Euros Free 4 page programme eventually

My third visit to the Kadriorg Stadium and third separate home team. Was expecting more from the home team who are top of the Estonian League and drew 2-2 last week. It was won very easily by the visitors who had good support. Their first UEFA win. The home team had only one shot on target.
Did this on a day trip from Helsinki for 42 Euros. The 10.30 Tallink boat was full therefore thankful booked in advance. The return left at 22.30 and was meet at the port by a bus at 00.30 to take passengers to the City centre. Tram then to hotel. Strange it was still light till just past midnight.
great day out.

We got to the ground 45 minutes before kick off and was told no programmes therefore obtained the UEFA sheets from the home club. About 20 mins to kick off could see people with what appeared to be and were programmes. Glad I managed to obtain some for my regular contacts.
Off to Lahti tomorrow for MYPA 47 and Cefn Druids

Hi Tim

I'm going there in a couple of weeks or so - doesn't look that far from the centre on the map; did you walk out and back from port?

Because we were sightseeing as well we walked from Terminal D to the main road Parvu Mnt. Then tram into the centre. We could have however walked to the ground which we would have done on the return if there was extra time penalties. It is further from the other terminals

The ground is easily found by tram 1 from Linnehall. The 24 hour ticket was 4 euros. Tram 3 also goes to the Park.

There is only one entrance to the ground. After going off the tram at the final stop go forward and then turn right. At the end of the park go about 50 yards and turn left past tennis courts. The ground can be seen on the right. There is a large car park in front of the turnstyles where tickets can be bought and programmes obtained.

Have a good trip

A lot cheaper than Helsinki

We walked out and back from the Old Town - perhaps 30 mins each way, although we did stop to look at various shops on the way

Paddy

When Kev and I went to Estonia last year we walked to the A le Coq Arena (Lillkula Stadium) from the centre in soaring heat! From what I remember the Kadriorg seemed nearer town, but walkable in half an hour or so. Need to go back at some point as its a great weekend and you can get several venues in one day

Hope you get some great grounds in!
