Division 1:

AC Olympia
Apperley & Tewkesbury Dynamos
Bibury - promoted (champions)
Bishops Cleeve III
Butlers - promoted
Charlton Rovers
Falcons
Finlay Rovers
Gloucester Elmleaze
Kings
Northway - promoted
Star Reserves
Tewkesbury Town - promoted
Whaddon United

Divisions 2-6 here:

http://full-time.thefa.com/...electedLeague=516676

Real Whaddon promoted to the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League.

Staunton & Corse have transferred from North Glucestershire League to Division 2, reserves also to Division 5.

A couple of new teams in Division 6 - Cheltenham United and Regency Town. There may be new reserve teams, but I'm only interested if they play at exciting new grounds. In fact, only one new ground, as far as I can see: Tivoli Rovers are now playing at All Saints Academy in Cheltenham.

Just need the Bristol & Suburban to complete the line ups for Gloucestershire. Can anyone help?

Bibury must feel hard done by. Two titles in a row in different leagues yet they are still only in Div 1 (due to complexity of Glos pyramid rules).

Nothing to worry about at Bibury. They've already won the Jim Newman Trophy, beating four higher placed teams, including two Hellenic sides, along the way, and won 3 out of 4 league games so far. Oh, and Scott Huband has scored thirteen goals in the four league games. Gloucester Northern Senior here they come.

Bibury are obviously a good team. My point was: they won two successive league titles and promotion (after winning the Cirencester League, then winning Div 2 of the Cheltenham League at the first attempt). The Glos league pyramid has not helped them. Why does a team that won the Cirencester League get "promoted" to Div 2 of the Cheltenham League? Bibury have had to play for 3 extra years more to vie for promotion to the Glos Northern Senior League (the league above the Cheltenham and Cirencester Leagues).

In essence, they should theoretically be vying for a place in the top Div of the GNSL - had they not had the misfortune of playing in the Cirencester League and the Glos FA's bizarre pyramid. The fact they cruised through the Cheltenham League's Div 2 with such ease suggests the Cirencester League may not be as weak as previously suggested?

No they haven't. Surely it's only one extra year. And I imagine they chose to go into the Ciren League when they were relegated from the GNSL about ten years ago.

Bibury won the Cirencester League in 2010. Had Glos FA allowed promotion straight to the GNSL, they would have started playing in the GNSL in 2010. After having to go via the circuitous route of Cheltenham League Div 2, and now Div 1, the EARLIEST they can reach the GNSL is 2013. An extra three years AT LEAST.

But the Cirencester League isn't a feeder league to the GNSL so that couldn't have happened.

That is exactly my point! Why does Cirencester League feed to Div 2 (of the 6 Div) Cheltenham League?

Because it's not very good. Having watched a fair bit of football in all the north Gloucestershire leagues, its a long way short of the other three and promotion to Cheltenham Div 2 seems about right. Bibury are an exceptionally good team, however, which makes things seem not quite right.

Bibury are obviously very ambitious. I wonder why they didn't transfer to the Cheltenham League earlier - to save themselves several seasons mired in Glos' pyramid and needlessly trawling through the Cirencester League.
