The relegation situation from Division One appears to be a bit odd - Eccleston & Heskin have gone down despite finishing 7th, whilst Southport Amateurs Reserves and Southport Trinity A, finishing 8th and 9th, have stayed up. Meanwhile bottom placed Tarleton Corinthians have been relegated two tiers to Division Three.

Leaving the league are Leyland United, promoted to the West Lancashire League (although their reserve sides remain). Also gone, fates unknown are Skelmersdale Athletic from Division Two and Clayton Brook, Eccleston & Heskin A and Preston Sector, all from Division Four.
