Tonight's viewing is the episode from Kelso, Scotland.
The Interceptor's start position is of interest, there appears to be some kind of grandstand in the background and a white fence, possibly a racecourse or something? Any ideas?

I'm taking a wild guess here - Kelso racecourse?

Well, he was stroking the horses at the beginning ...

Spot on! Sorry, I know nothing about horse racing and wasn't sure if Kelso had a racecourse, but yes that's it. Blush

Never heard of The Interceptor - was it 1990s? - cos I was in France then. The original (French) Fort Boyard was better than the English one - difficult to explain why, it just worked better.

1989 was the year, just 8 episodes were made and the last was shown at the beginning of 1990.

The episode from Cornwall is the one where the helicopter pilot bites back...
"do you want me to drop you off guv?"
"thats what I said! drop me off and head back to the yellow course!"
"Thats what i thought, oh I'll enjoy that as I'll be on my own for a change!" Laugh
"Watch yourself Mikey!" Mad

A word of thanks to the pilot Michael Malric-Smith for playing his part in the series so well too Cool
