Firstly the name Wessex has been dropped completely from the league.

Its former correct title was Sydenham's Football League (Wessex) - now to be known as just Sydenham's Football League. Sponsorship deal lasts a few years yet so no immediate renaming next season necessary.

Premier Division to start on 3rd and 4th August with the first division not starting their league campaign until 8th September.

Division 1 will have no Xmas and Easter Bank Holiday monday fixtures

Early rounds of the league cup will be played in August

Clubs are welcome to play as many Friday games as they want as long as they give league plenty of notice (and both sides agree of course).

Referees awarded Warminster the friendliest club award

Lengthy and sometimes heated debate re step 5 re-organisation. Basically any club who doesn't have a 'F' ground grading by 31st March WILL BE RELEGATED.

FA Leagues comittee to decide from end of this season all relegation/promotion issues from step 5 to step 6 (as they do for steps 2,3 and 4)

Step 7 clubs applying to join must have plans and consent and also provide proof of funding applications for lights by 31st March of the season they apply from and if successful in their application the lights must be installed and working by 30th September. If they are installed after that date then that club WILL BE RELEGATED at the end of the season.

Anyone with any queries or need any help planning a trip to Fareham Town FC - give me a bell.

Any pre 1979-80 Fareham Town programmes wanted plus any further memorabilia/press etc.

Had seen something about the change of League Name - perhaps this might link in with STEP 5 re-org and restructuring of boundaries?

What about the STEP 6 grading - anyone under threat ? I know Stockbridge have to have their new changing rooms in place by the end of the season. If they are not careful, there wont be a viable Div One.

Did anyone from Warminster accept their award?

Clubs - 119 (Grounds 123)

2012/13 - Fareham Town, Poole Town, US Portsmouth, Bournemouth Poppies, Sholing, Alton Town, Gillingham Town, Alderbury, Bashley, Alresford Town, Gosport Borough

Warminster were there. Bar Brading, only 1 other club didn't turn up.

Not much said about step 6 ground gradings unless they meant all step 6 must have an 'F' grading also?

I thought Brading had resigned from the league.

They have. Warminster are no longer in the league but they turned up primarily to say their farewells.

Stupid nonsense about lights, now wonder step 6 is being denuded of teams.
