I think i got that one from Wikipedia.
As I said I trawled the web for all of them with most coming from wiki, a few from the clubs own websites and other places

Stalybridge Celtic called the Badgers? Lived and went to school in t'Bridge and never heard em called that and I'm 41 now.

Bit like Manchester City being called the Citizens, I suppose.



I think the 'Badgers' thing came about when they had the black & white away strip a few years ago. I can still remember one of the supporters dressing in a badger's head at games on a couple of occasions.

Yes, I can remember quietly minding my own business at Bower Fold, when I was suddenly hugged by a six foot badger.

At least it was friendly to the away supporters, unlike Fleetwood's aggressive cod.
