Where do you go for non-league info? Can't Post or Reply Privately

Nowadays I tend to use this site, Ryman Forum and Maidstone United's unofficial forum to keep me updated; pics of Stones' new ground and a couple of other groups, notably lost football grounds, on Facebook; then very occasionally bbc website, non-league paper. Used to use non-league vidiprinter but assume it no longer exists.

Does that make me typical or not? How do YOU keep up to date with the non-league game?

Here. It is the best general non-league site around.

Otherwise league sites for tables/cup draws etc. Never things like facebook or the BBC, very rarely any other forums (and then only the Peninsula League one to check for postponements in wet weather and Cornish Soccer Forum)

Pretty much the same as Oxford Stone, plus forums of any teams we may be getting players from, teams we are due to play or have just played and other local teams/teams our results may affect.

I always find it interesting to see the opposition's perspective on our games.

Also, I always enjoy Mishi's blog, PyramidPassion and any other sites that publish pictures of non-league grounds.

This forum and a few other NL-related ones.

Non-League Paper.

League in question's website (or Mitoo).

For LTFC, it's the local paper or nowt as I'm not particularly keen on Twatter (which hasn't been updated since the end of the season) and wouldn't touch Faecebook with a barge poleMad

BTW does anyone know a fun Southern League version of NLZ? If I want sensible, conservative debate I post on here but sometimes I want aa bit of a laugh and banter.

There are quite a few nerdy OCD types who hate it when you go off topic, or don't post in the correct thread or (God forbid) discuss club news like new signings anywhere on the site.

However, on the positive side, you are allowed to discuss the poor grammar and spelling of any poster who falls below your own standards.

Until it came along there was nothing. Increasingly local papers don't even bother with non league. the NLP is pretty comprehensive you just have to check with the Clubs before travelling...Its more accurate and up to date than some League websites (Ie the Wessex!).

Spot on! Its a good starting point then go on club sites to confirm it.
The much maligned soccerway has always been my first port of call for euro games
Local press seems to be giving non-league less and less coverage these days.the local paper in leicester. is a scandal, fixtures wrong dates wrong results wrong and im sure its not on its own.

Fixtures? Results?

Local Daily in Swindon mentions non league once a week. I once wasted 50p on it after I left my NLP at work and wanted to check what fixtures were on locally. None was mentioned so I had to go to Swindon Supermarine as it was nearest! there was no mention of the game i went to the following day either!!

Must buzz for deviation as I specified non-league news! Only kidding - I use Soccerway to keep an eye on French, Spanish and Brazilian leagues including lower reaches (eg in Brazil, Pernambucano in the 1st half of the year; how are Rouen / Real Oviedo getting on, and so on). I find it excellent.

I can't really see the point in going to nonleaguedaily because the site hasn't been updated for yonks.
They've still got the transfers on for February 2011. How good is that?

Not my favourite either.

Would a list of people's favourite (archive refernce or up-to-date news) websites merit a place in The Library or would it be too subjective?

I use nonleague.co.uk's forums a lot - better known as Fans Focus. As a follower of the Combined Counties league it's the best place for info as many managers and players from that league are regular posters. Not sure what the other league forums are like on there.
