London Spartan League Tables Book Can't Post or Reply Privately
Just received the latest set of league tables from Bob Perkins, this time for the complete duration of the London Spartan League 1975-1997. Has full tables of senior and intermediate sections together with a useful club directory. Anyone who has purchased one of these booklets before will be aware how useful it is when doing research to have all the tables in one place rather than having to delve into numerous handbooks and yearbooks. Cost £3.25 plus £1.15 postage from Bob Perkins, 259 Birchfield Road East, Abington, Northampton, NN3 2HQ. Kind of defeats the point doesn't it? Bob must have done a fantastic amount of research to get these tables together (I've never seen about a dozen of them) so I think it's fair enough to flog a few copies in book form.

Agreed. Bob helped extensively in getting the East of Scotland League tables onto the SFHA, and is entitled to earn something from his hard work.
