Blimey, you must be bored in the off-season starting all these different threads Tongue

But in answer to your question; not quite my scene I'm afraid! Any suggestions of tracks or artists I could listen to get an idea of the genre that you speak of?

Never bored, of that I can assure you Wink
Not enough hours in the day.

Well there is quite a range of styles, something for all tastes, I don't know what you normally listen to but if its something catchy you like then try...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGKDuD91XHY
if its Rock you like then perhaps...
http://www.youtube.com/...&feature=related
or something heavier then...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTT6picaCoQ
more operatic? ...
http://www.youtube.com/...&feature=related

And anyone who can't find something they like out of that lot is a lost cause Laugh

Enjoy!

I'd like to see Susan Boyle with pink spiky hair, wearing black plastic bin liners,
safety pins various, in appropriate and inappropriate places, ripped parachute
gear and belting out a version of Firestarter..

Aaaaanyway........ back on topic. I saw Delain twice on their recent tour (did you miss out again LondonBuck??) and they were fantastic. The new album's been ordered for ages, and has apparently been dispatched - hopefully will arrive tomorrow. What I heard of it at the gigs sounded great, but maybe a bit less metally than their other 2 albums. Babylon, Electricity, the new single & the title track sounded the pick of the bunch, but I really need to pop the CD on in the car to give it a good listen. Delain always make good driving music!

Yes, unfortunately I missed out again, I never seem to have much luck with the dates. Tried to get tickets for a Lacuna coil gig in London but seem to have sold out in a day Frown
Good driving music? Do you have the last Nemesea album?

Is there a particular website that lists all the upcoming tour dates?

I tend to look on a regular basis at the websites of the bands that I want to see in concert. Most bands also have Facebook pages nowadays, and this seems to be the way that they announce a lot of stuff. If you "Like" the bands pages, any announcements will appear on your News Feed. Some bands also have mailing lists that you can sign up to for news about tours, releases etc. Can't remember what I used to do pre-t'internet Crazy

My missus is not into bellringing at all; she'd be classed as more of a knocker woman I'd say, probably down to her Black Country upbringing.

Funnilly enough though, she grew up not far from Bell End,Rowley Regis. That's just off Mincing Lane, which takes us nicely back to where we started.
