So, have you proposed any changes for the forthcoming AGM? This is where the clubs have their say.
The committees only act on what gets voted through by the clubs. If representatives can't be bothered to do anything the status quo will remain.
I am guessing Richard you havent been privvy to many AGM's for non league football - basically you have little to no choice but to go with the flow , otherwise you are seen as causing trouble - the leagues dictate what will happen , its a like it or lump it situation.
When i attended last years AGM and asked the question " could teams who have won the respective leagues from outside the region potentially go straight into Div 1 " i was told they could but we dont want to do that !.
Even though common sense and statistical results show these teams always tend to " go through the leagues " so pitching them at a more suitable level would make more competitive football all round .
Does the chairman really think its healthy to send teams on a 150 mile round trip to play an unbeaten top of the league team who are walking the league beacuse they are playing at a std thats too easy for them ?
And then they have the nerve to moan and groan about teams folding and not being able to fulfill fixtures , when in reality , they are the cause !
