After Thursday we could be using Imperial Measurements again very soon Cool

At least using Imperial Measurements you have to use your brain and not a calculator, and when we did the "G" meant something.

You've lost me on that.
I find it strange how I fill up my car in litres but everything's still miles per gallon. I'm old enough to remember when it was all in gallons but now I'd seriously have to think what one is.

And, as a spokesman for the old ways, can I ask why you lot adopt centigrade when you're talking about temperatures below freezing? Admit it, it's easier isn't it? Tongue

There must be hundreds of grounds at Step 7 and below under threat if this minimum pitch size rule is enforced. Lyme Regis may be exempt from this ruling as the Perry Street League isn't part of the pyramid but the ground will eventually disappear through subsidence as it's on the edge of a cliff. Some of the clubs visited on Welsh hops will be in trouble if the FAW also enforce this rule, most notably St Dogmaels.

This week offers possibly the final opportunity to visit two grounds which may be lost to senior football.
If you missed Sittingbourne Milton & Fulsdon United v Fleetdown United in Kent County League Division One is being played at there on Tuesday May 14th according to fulltime, assuming Pitch 1 means the main ground and not the training pitch behind. Don't know if this a permanent move or just that the club's UK Paper ground is lost to cricket in the summer months. Opponents Fleetdown clinched the title without kicking a ball on Saturday when nearest challengers Erith 147 lost 5-4 at Forest Hill Park. Kick Off is 6:45.
Meanwhile Kimberley Miners Welfare's final(?) match at Digby Street v Awsworth Villa has been re-arranged for Thursday 16th May, KO 6:30.
