I'm not sure why we've got so many people 'defecting' to this other forum

I think you've missed a vowel out there Tom.

Hang on, oh wait, yeah I get it. Cool

Saturday 3rd March 2012 @ 3pm
Spartan South Midlands Premier Division
Dunstable Town v Harefield United 5-0
Admission: £6
Programme: £1
Attendance: 83

I thought I would visit Creasey Park now all the rebuilding work has finished. An ample car park is situated behind the near goal, which also has stepped terracing and covers behind the goal. A seated out of the box stand is on the opposite touchline to the main building. This building has a large tarmac concourse before the perimeter rail and dugouts. Inside the clubhouse has that leisure centre feel, with nothing out of the ordinary available to drink, The menu has an enticing feel to it but many items were not available, including the pies as they were “not popular so we keep throwing them away”.

Harefield set their stall out to harass Town to not give them time on the ball. A gallant effort but they were undone by a superior outfit, including the impressive Nathan Frater up front. Harefield kept up the deadlock until just before half time, when Frater sent a 20 yard curler into the corner. The game was over within 5 minutes of the second half with Frater beating 2 defenders before sidefooting in his 2nd, followed by a sweet volley from a cross field pass by Judge. A further 2 goals in the last 5 minutes, the 4th goal was Fraters hat-trick then a 5th by the late substitute no16.

Sagres League

Vitoria Setubal 1 Sporting Lisbon 0

Adm 10eu away

Att 6,000

Shocking game with Setubal dominating the first half, they could have
been 3 up at the break but could only manage one with the goal being
give after it was hacked off the line by a Sporting defender.

Couldn't believe how bad Sporting were and despite having to leave 5 mins
from the end we missed nothing despite Sporting missing a penalty.

Estadio Do Bonfim is a wonderful old oval ground with just cover on the
main stand that is well worth visiting,i just had to go back on Monday
during the day to take some daylight pics.

The Sporting fans were excellent and didn't let up in the first half, can't believe
that they managed to put in a decent performance to beat City on Thursday !

YEOVIL TOWN 2-1 BRENTFORD (NPOWER LEAGUE 1)

ADMISSION: £11 (Young Person 16-21)
PROGRAMME: £3 (Very Good)

ATT: 3,930

My second visit to Huish Park this season (the other being Inverness CT in pre-season).

Brentford were the stronger team in the first half and went in at half-time a goal to the good courtersy of Sam Saunders free-kick.

The second half saw a much better performance from Yeovil Town and two goals from the impressive Andy Williams earned the hosts three valued points.

And the fellow traveller (aka desselsportfan - back on line after a break from this site) did a darn fine job for a novice!!Cool Might take it up full time when I move south west in a few weeks. Can thoroughly recommend the Huddersfield League for scenic locations and if goals are your thing then try the South Yorkshire Amateur league.

Also just started getting into Sunday football - where do you all stand on including these grounds on your totals ?
