Not when there's a new ground for him to tick! Bet he's not been to Sudbury before! ;-) And remind me..how are all the non-league hordes enjoying their travels in that 'hotbed' of non-league football that is Liverpool?
Good come-back, though I was actually having a pop at the relatively small distances Ryman League clubs travel, not the level of support... Anyway, I partly agree with you about Liverpool not being a hotbed of non-league football. Local step 1-6 clubs have never been particularly well supported in the 30+ years I've been watching footy, but the amateur game - and Sunday league in particular - is still pretty strong. While it's not that much of an exaggeration to say that being born in Liverpool means you're born to be a footy fan, sadly that usually means you're born to be a red or a blue, and the idea of 'supporting' a second club rarely features except for the occasional big game. Beyond that, there is plenty of interest in the game but usually just at a social level - watching in the pub, playing or watching a game on a Sunday morning with your mates etc. EDIT: BTW, I like Sudbury too, and Chatham (excellent bacon on a French stick when I was there!). And, in a vain attempt to get back on topic, I've always found Barclays bank to be very good but Barclaycard was a whole different matter - for reasons similar to those of other posters on this thread, I ditched them years ago.
