New public holiday? Can't Post or Reply Privately

It has been said many times that there should be another Bank Holiday between August and Christmas, so how about this as a suggestion?
October 23rd. It could be called '6-1 Day'. Would be especially popular in Manchester and Liverpool.

Don't think it would be very popular in Dorset and Kent - the heartlands of United support. By the way a new helpline has been set up for those who were traumatised by the events of Sunday. It is 0161-616161

Aldershot fans were singing 'f**k off back to Guildford' to the Man U. fans tonight.

Saw two United fans on the underground last night. They were endlessly chanting 'Manchester La-La-La' an Arsenal fan asked them if they were City or United.
One of them couldn't even keep his trousers on, despite wearing a belt, every few minutes they dropped down to reveal his red (appropriately) underwear.
It's difficult to look hard when your trousers keep falling down!
It's my theory that at least 50% of stupid people support United, across the country as a whole.

Found an interesting bit of research based on Facebook accounts. According to that there are about 1 million people in the UK who are Man U. fans. 170360 of them live in Manchester.
There are 54080 Man City fans in Manchester!

Some other interesting numbers:

There are 10 million Man Utd fans worldwide.

There are more Man Utd fans in Indonesia than in the UK.

There are more Man Utd fans in the Maldives than Norwich City fans in Norwich.

There are more Man Utd fans in Azerbaijan than Ipswich Town fans in Ipswich.

The smallest identified group of Man Utd fans is the 20 fans in Sao Tome and Principe.

Not mentioned in the article but no pin in Guildford on the map indicates less than 20 fans there but Reading has 5500. Seeing numbers like that makes me think there's a flaw somewhere in the research.

If you know any distraught Manchester United fans following the match against Manchester City the Samaritans in Manchester have set up an emergency phone number for them; it is 0161 616 1616.
