How much to put adverts on the main banner?

I haven't yet set up the payment processing. Once that is done it's all automated.

The site will be carrying CPM advertising only, no click-thru or affiliate ads. Likely cost, something around £1 per thousand unique impressions for the top banner and about a third less for the small graphic and text ads. Minimum spend will be just a tenner. Note these are unique impressions, if the same person sees the same ad on 5 different pages in the same session it counts as 1 impression.

I will let you know when the software has been configured.

Cheers

PS: to those not interested in advertising... I've tried to keep the ads as unobtrusive as possible in that there are no pop ups, pop unders or whatever. Fact is, the site has to start paying some of the bills that are associated with it, I can't keep putting my hand in my wallet and because the advertising is being run 'in house' I think we could get some very relevant and interesting advertisers taking a shot at it.
