I have been out all day and have only had chance to log in and catch up this evening. I have been logged in for over an hour working on different leagues and divisions and the system has been working well with the waiting time between entries very acceptable.
Thanks Steve
The time of this entry is 20:57.

I can get into the Fixtures/results from both accounts. One account took 2m 10s to load up and the other one took 2m 25s.

5 secs to get into the admin pages tonight. Well done!!

thanks John and Paul. Not really down to me, all I did was nag and pester. More down to the guys at FDC who had this to say by email "Please pass on my apologies to all your editors for the delay in getting it sorted, thank you for being patient "

I'm now going to nag and pester for a server hardware upgrade which will improve the performance even more. Smile

I logged in last night to update the results I couldn't do on Wednesday and it worked very well, even with multiple leagues. Onwards and upwards...

Is it possible to put an editor's log-in link on the main page. At present the only way I get into editor is to find the e-mail Steve sent out with the log-in link on it and use that.

Unless I am totally blind and can't see for looking.

Fixtures 29 Aug, KO times.

Bank Holiday fixtures are usually 15.00 KO times. Some league web sites show some games as kicking off at 15.00 and others left blank.

Do we assume the blank KO's will also be 15:00?? or would you prefer 01:00 as an example if not 15:00.??

Thanks

There isn't a link, I assumed you would just bookmark it. I will see about adding a link on the homepage somewhere.

Regarding bank holiday kick offs I would imagine that they are all 15:00. I'm presuming that anyone going to a game would check first with an official source.

If you're editing a league, you need to check ko times. Most league websites either give you the times against each game, or have a note somewhere which tells you regular ko times "(unless stated otherwise)". Many leagues kick off at 11 or 11.30 on Bank Holidays. When I select games for Angus' game (where the ko time does matter), I have only found the odd one where I needed to look at the club website to find out.

I had to seach the league websites to find the ko times in the rules in a couple of instances, but they tend to ignore evening games.

The Southern League (3 leagues) has 32 games scheduled for 29 Aug. 12 are confirmed as a 15:00 KO. There is no other comment on the league site other than all mid week games are 19:45 unless other wise shown. I don't think the other 20 games are 19.45 and with due respect I will not be checking each club's web site for confirmation.

They must be updating the Southern League site slowly, all but 4 or 5 fixtures have kick off times now, most at 15:00 but a couple at 19:45

I knew it would just be a matter of time before I asked this question - how do you make points adjustments?

You wait for the arbitary decision from that league, perhaps appeal to your local FA, then the FA, EUFA, FIFA and the sports of arbitration and then just realise - like QI last night, that nobody does the points scoring system.

Post them into the corrections thread please, it needs admin access at the moment, I will perhaps put that on the changes list for editors.

Cheers.... Steve

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but if a match gets prosponed due to crowd congestion to a 20:00 kick off, does the time need changing on the website from 19:45?

No I wouldn't have thought so. You'd be entering the result so it didn't really matter what time the game kicked off
