Alston - I walked through there on the Pennine Way last year. Nice little town, though not chav free, interesting to see they've made the leap from Westmorland 2nd tier.

I didn't know they had a side there, adds to the places I walked through with a side!

EDIT: I knew they had a side, I camped literally next to the ground and ate/drank in a pub overlooking the ground! Was just a pitch, nothing more.

www.chapeltom1213.wordpress.com - new blog, new season, keep reading :)

2012/2013 season:

New Fordley will be at Dudley Welfare next season & at Annitsford in 12/13 apparently.

Lang Jacks (who may or may not be some manner of descendants of Winlaton Hallgarth) are trying to move to Eslington Park (between A1 & Dunston Fed), but not sure as yet. If their current ground is the one I'm thinking of, it is the mud heap outside The Glebe

Lang Jacks have been playing on the pitch in front of Whickham's Glebe Ground.

Also Simonside SC will be known as Harton & Westoe from next season, which is interesating as they took over ex Wearside League club Harton & Westoe's ground & now have their name

Berwick United Ultras have resigned from the Northern Alliance, apparently after losing players to East of Scotland League clubs

I've noticed Stobswood Welfare are missing from the Division One table too. Anyone know if they've gone or if it's just an error on the website?

According to handbook, Chemfica will now be playing at Newcastle University's playing fields at the very top of Coach Lane, which as you come up the hill are past the entrance to Team Northumbria's place at Coach Lance campus, or if you come down the hill first left past the church.

In D2, Alnwick Town Reserves will play at St James Park NE66 1BH, Alston will play at Tyne willows (no postcode), Bedlington Terriers Reserves will play at Doctor Pitt Welfare Park NE22 5DP, New Fordley will play at Willie John Sams Centre in Dudley NE23 7HS, which is where Newcastle BT played, North Shields Athletic will be at John Spence High School, North Shields & Whickham Lang Jacks will be at Winlaton Hallgarth's old pitch at Shibdon Road in Blaydon.
