I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie once, back in 1974, and was able to thank him personally for everything he had done for the Hibs. Now only Reilly left of the greatest forward line Scotland has ever produced.

He'll be sadly missed. A genius way ahead of his time who wouldn't have let us get into the mess we're in just now (and I'm not just talking about Hibs) if he'd had his way.
I only ever came across him once at the Open at Muirfield some years back. I believe I may have stammered out a "Hello Eddie ....." to him.
