The Conference has 24 clubs.
The other leagues at steps 2-4 (11 divisions in all) have 22 clubs each which means 232
Steps 5&6 are a bit more difficult. You could say that each can have 22, as given that they are all nominally fllodlit, this is possible, but an average of 20 is nearer the mark.

AT Step 5, there are 14 leagues, so 14x20 = 280
At Step 6, there are 15 divisions, and 15x30 = 300

Which gives a grand total of 836. Not a precise number, but a good working figure - and certainly more than the actual numbers currently in the leagues

15 x 30 is not 300. Also why would each Step 6 division have 30 clubs? Or have i got this wrong?

Maybe you meant 15 x 20?

Yes, sure he did . I nearly alway's P/M someone when they have made an obvious error !

July 1, 2019 to June 30,2020 = 35 / 30/ 5/ inc 2 x 0-0's. (You know my rules) @ 11 / 08 / 2019.
2019/20. Benelux = Bel = 0-0-0-(0-0-0)-(0-2-3-2)/ Lux = 0-3 / Neth = 0-0-0-(2 - 2) Others France = 0-0 / Germany =0-0-0 / Italy =0-3/ Iberia = P = 0-1 & S = 0-1.

I hope it's far reaching and totally different - haven't a new structure debate for a long time. Nothing wrong with the usual 1-2-4-8 etc, but it's nice to get stuck into something totally new. I miss Vienna!

There are 851 teams currently in steps 1-6.

With 24 in the Conference Premier and 22 in all other divisions there's room for 926 but some divisions already have 23 so it depends on what you mean by full.

give us some split-schedules, conferences and wacky, co-efficient dependent promotion/relegation system and I'll be happy :)

Only in so far as they are expressed in terms which stretch the comprehensibility of the English language to its outermost limits.

And then beyond.

Sorry.. I've been away for a while which may explain tardy posts. Has Vienna ever reappeared? Or have I just made the mother of all faux-pas, in which case I'll get my coat.

I know I've failed on the language front. In truth, I never expected to succeed. I don't have the brain to put together the type of paragraphs Vienna constructed. I was sick on more than one occasion trying to read them - it was like having 'the bends' - but none the less I enjoyed them immensely.

In a different guise, and true-to-form he flounced again.
