As you're probably aware, I still haven't got the site back up on-line. I do appreciate that people have come to rely on it for information, so what I have decided to do on a test basis is sell some CDs of the entire site at the forthcoming Hellenic Hop. If there is some interest I might open up to postal sales later. One thing is I don't know how much people would consider paying for such a CD. Any suggestions, either here or by PM would be appreciated. -- Richard

which is how much? Anyway, a searchable database on CD is more useful than a paper file.

Postal sales would be good as I won't be on the hop. I'll give you a brownie for it, not a chocolate one!

I would also be willing to pay a 'brownie'and will be on the hop. I don't want to price myself out but I reckon you could probably charge a 'Hampden Roar'.

How much do you need to get it back online, Richard? People have said they're willing to chip in. Have you written off the idea of ever getting it back online?

I'm not a groundhopper, but I would certainly consider purchasing a CD version of the database. It would be invaluable to me.

It won't cost anything as I'd be happy to host it.....

Cracking idea and I would happily part with at least a male opera singer for a CD. That a tenner by the way !

I'd pay a tenner plus postage costs for a cd version of the database. I've used it to check and collect information for my own interest over the past couple of years. In fact I'm keen enough to do so that it prompted me to cease to be a lurker and get round to registering just so I could post this reply.

Hi Richard... any updates on this at all? Sent you a PM with a few questions and a suggested price but I've not heard anything back.
