I'm feeling somewhat embarrassed here. There's a time and a place to win to get the weekly highest score and for the first time this season, it's me . I've had some decent playoff and Vase results, with Salisbury, Leatherhead, Hitchin and Whitley Bay all winning. I'm not counting this week as finished overall, and seadog41 can finish level if results go for him in the final Conference playoff games. However overall, I now have an unassailable lead (200). Those behind are very close to each other - 2nd is SparkyRebel (189), 1 point ahead of BobLHatt with FootballMan 2 back from him and TeacherRef (183). Fatbury will finish with the wooden spoon this year - he's very close to the top in the National comp though. In the sub-comps, in practice all are already decided, with the step 5 title being won by FootballMan (106), ahead of myself (104) and Moorsider (101); paulh66 taking the Southern crown on earlier submission from FootballMan (59 each), with keepz1 just a point behind in 3rd; SparkyRebel winning the Isthmian (55) ahead of Ciel et Marine and chris41 (53); and myself winning the Northern (62) from TeacherRef (60) and FootballMan (58). Whilst there are still points to be won in step 1-4, since all the top 3 have Luton, the overall standings will not change. The National comp on paper looks tight but in fact is decided - Sarumio cannot fail to win now, even though UkPunk (2nd) and BobLHatt (3rd) have the same points to date. Again, this is down to all the top 4 having selected Luton and the top 2 also having AFC Telford Utd. Congratulations to all the winners! I'll post up a thread for improvements / changes for next season. One suggestion put to me has included a financial element....I don't plan to make this mandatory but it could be an option.... I survived relegation too, although it depends if we're looking at 'three down' or 'four down' ! I aspire to be like Fulham or Stoke--a non-spectacular mid-table finish. The past few years doing this, I feel like Wolves!

Second season jitters for me. After winning it last season to finish 37th this time is a bit duff but thanks for doing this again Jim.

Will echo the comments of everyone and thank Jim for running the competition. It's been interesting taking part. Moving up three places in the final week just saved the manager's head this time. He hopes you'll run a new competition next season.

Well I just missed out on a Europa League spot by a point to Jamesie. Not a bad effort so I'll have to do better next season! Many thanks to Jim for the effort and dedication in providing a bit of light relief to us all.

Excellent work Jim.Many thanks for all your effort in organising & continually updating throughout the season. You fully deserve to be on the winner's podium! On a personal note, extemely happy to be above timmytabby, as we had a bet beforehand over who would finish the highest.I'm now looking forward to Mr Tabby treating me to an all expenses paid curry & a few beers as promised
