Any news from Sussex? Can't Post or Reply Privately

Has anyone got any news about the constitutions of the Brighton Hove & District League, the East Sussex and West Sussex leagues? It seems like they're a bit slow down in Sussex, I've got all the other Step 7 leagues sorted.

These are the three I have on my list of "To be confirmed" - along with a 4th - the East Berkshire League - I take it you've seen their constitution then?

No, I haven't, I just forgot to update last year's constitution because it arrived late, so thought I'd got an updated list. 4 it is. Sorry!

First week of August comes to a close and still no one is any the wiser as to what the constitutions of these four Step 7 Leagues are!!!

They've all had their AGMs and they must all be starting their seasons soon...so what are they playing at?

The Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and East Berkshire don't start until the beginning of September (don't know about the West Sussex). Probably those who really need to know, rather than the likes of you and me who merely want to know, are aware of what's happening.

There is a note on the Brighton & Hove League website that they are putting the fixture and cup details on there over the next week (but I don't know how long that has been there for!)

Just for you, though, here is the provisional Brighton & Hove constitution

Premier
AFC Falmer Falcons
AFC Stanley
American Express
Ampito
Brighton Electricity
Brighton North End
CCK
Montpelier Villa
O & G United
Ovingdean
Portslade Athletic
Southern Rangers OB

One
BSM 08
Constant Service
Hair Razors
Montpelier View
Montpelier Villa reserves
Orb 360
Ricardo
Rottingdean Village
The White Schooner
White Hart Revolution
Whitehawk United

Two
AFC Brighton & Hove
Boys Brigade Old Boys
Chailey
Deans Dynamos
Millhouse
PHS United
Rottingdean Village reserves
Royal Hove
Saltdean Sharks
Vista

Three
AFC Brighton & Hove reserves
Boys Brigade Old Boys reserves
CCK reserves
FC Shepherds
Hove Park Tavern
Midway
Montpelier Villa "A"
Montreal Arms
Portslade Athletic reserves
Southwick Rangers

Note this is only provisional at this point, so should not be seen as a Reliable Source for updating Wikipedia!

In the list for the Brighton and Hove League, Rottingdean Village are shown in Division 1 and the reserves in Division 2.

What I assume to be the First Team is a member of the Sussex County League Division 3 so the two teams mentioned above would in fact be the Reserves and 3rd Team.

There 'Ant no place like Sussex, until you goes above, 'Cause Sussex will be Sussex and Sussex wunt be druv.

The North begins at Gatwick.
