My point being you are trying to make out there is a big Scottish/English race issue, which does not exist. There's a hell of a lot more anti Eastern European / ethnic Asian feeling in Britain than the stuff you're on about. Thankfully that is in the minority too. There's lots of rivalries throughout the UK, most football related and within each country, so we no doubt have race issues from East/West London, Birmingham/Black Country, Yorkshire/Lancashire, Wales/England, Staffordshire/Cheshire, Catholic Glasgow/Protestant Glasgow to name but a few. This is just knuckledragger posturing and knuckledraggers will always find a target.

So, if you want to go on a moral crusade on British race relations then concentrate on the real issues not some isolated cases.

Well I will heed your advice and make sure I look out for the schiltrons when I cross the border on Saturday. I will take along a celt as a bargaining tool just in case we get attacked. Tonight, I will have a dry run and try those nasty celts in Wales.

BTW, I've found the source of your attacks by Scots on the English. http://www.amazon.co.uk/...ativeASIN=0850455421

you certainly are no ostrich Mr Buncrana; what you state has happened many times in the past both at home and abroad; and I doubt whether it will ever go away whilst we have the drinking cultue that is prevalent in my country; however I am not changing my stance; the best feeling in football is when your own club beats your local rivals or Man U; and the opposite is true; second best feeling is feeling proud of your own country`s performance and yes, one day, we will beat the Germans and one day Gerrard and Lampard will perform at club level for their country; any speeliing mistakes todayCool

Only cultue that I spotted. That "one day" now HAS to be Wednesday next.

I should add the the Germans don't see England as local rivals in any way. Their main rivalry is with the Dutch.
