The latest I heard on the CCL is that Hayes Gate will be Promoted from the Middlesex League and will be ground Sharing at Hanwell town next season. Spelthorne Sports had applied but will not finish high enough in their league to be considered. Not to sure about the Wessex though no doubt all will be revealed in the fullness of time Frown

many thanks for that, dont suppose you know if fleet spurs can be promoted fom wessex div 1 to the wessex premier? also does that mean that the combined counties will relegate a team to allow for hayes gate's arrival

Wessex website says Laverstock & Ford are will remain in the Premier division, so no it looks like Fleet Spurs aren't being promoted.

Cowes down to div 1

Hamble ASSC & Fawley up.

Pewsey Vale applying to replace AFC Aldermaston.

Donald Rumsfeld summed up the situation perfectly a couple of years ago.
There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.

The known knowns in the CCL are:-

North Greenford promoted from Premier.
Mole Valley SCR promoted from Division 1.

The known unknowns are:-

The three teams who approached the league with a view to moving across the pyramid who were directed to the FA by the league committee. We now know one of those teams is Farnborough North End.

If Hayes Gate finish in a promotion position (I think it's top two but may be top three) then they'll be promoted.

The league themselves have only just found out that Walton Casuals won't be relegated and Bracknell will be going to the Hellenic and haven't yet formally listed the proposed constitution for the AGM in June.

The unknown unknowns include the issue of groundshares affecting clubs in both divisions that needs to be sorted out before anyone will know the exact make-up of the divisions.

So now you know. Wink

**edit**
Forgot to add that Crescent Rovers are apparently voluntarily relegating themselves to the Surrey Elite Intermediate League. With the maximum of four new additions to the league then Coulsdon will be relegated. Any less than four teams coming in will mean no forced relegation from Division 1 this season.

I think. Crazy

The AGM's on June 25th.
