World Cup TV Schedule Announced Can't Post or Reply Privately

BBC and ITV have agreed their broadcasting schedules for this summer's World Cup. ITV will show England's first 2 games and BBC will then show the third group game (and in effect) all of England's remaining fixtures right through to the final!! Should England reach the semi-final and beyond, then both broadcasters will show these games simultaneously.

The full broadcast schedule can be seen at:

Excellent. I wonder which gems ITV will have up their sleeves this time. Who will be this years Gazza - could it even be Gazza himself?
More airtime for Beaky Rosenthal. Great.

Shall we have a sweepstake for the 1st non England game Clyde Tyldesley commentates on that he mentions Man Utd.

I'm going for the 16th minute in his 1st game.

As Mexico play in the opening game and could well include Javier Fernandez, who will join Manchester United after the tournament, Tyldesley should be able to get a mention in before kickoff. Worryingly it might actually be in a context where its vaguely relevant.

There are plenty of other Man U relevant possibilities for our esteemed commentator to grasp at!

- Quinton Fortune - ex United SA international
- Garry Bailey - ex United keeper born in SA who now works in SA TV
- Old Trafford hosted England vs SA a few years back when Ian Wright scored etc etc
- United played Necaxa (a Mexican club side) in the World Club Chanpionship a few seasons back.

I am sure that there are many other trivial ways to make the MU connection?

How about the number of 'fans' they have in the other 31 countries compared to in England? Cool
