I'm not really blowing my own trumpet but I have just completed an update of my site on the history of the original Bedford Town (folded 1982) to cover their entire career in the Southern League from 1945/6 to their last season in 1981/2. It gives full results and almost full goalscorers, but there are a number of gaps in the Bedford lineups, and many gaps in the opposiition lineups, in the final years.
