Nothing surprises me these days as our two major sports are governed by FA and ECB, both chasing the big money and doing very little for grass roots sport. I suppose we will just have to carry on for another year (or several) with a gaping hole covering most of North and East Yorkshire and no decent League for clubs to play in unless they are prepared to travel a long way. Even then, as Scarborough Town have found out, promotion is not always assured as FA don't really seem to know whether they should go to Northern or NCEL.

There may be no structure in place, which means it is the status quo, leagues not officially at step 7 will provide clubs with the correct facilities (grade H)
