ECL (Non) Relegation Can't Post or Reply Privately

Not sure if this as already public knowledge, but, according to the local rag, there will be no-one relegated from the ECL Premier Division this season. This is due to Whitton United's mid-season demise, Lowestoft Town's promotion to the Isthmian League (with no relegated team to replace them) and Tiptree United's switch to the Essex Senior League being approved.

On last season's form I'm not sure that will be beneficial to Haverhill Rovers.

Will the top three in Div 1 be promoted i.e. did they all pass their ground inspections?

I was talking to the ECL Ground Standards Officer on Monday and he didn't mention any problems with the teams coming up from Division One.

Tiptree's website confirms their move to Essex Senior League and also a groundsharing arrangement with Maldon.

The following is a section of the article on Tiptree's website.

"In view of this, the Club have been in discussion with close neighbours, Maldon Town FC and have, as a consequence, now entered into an agreement that will allow both Clubs to use the Wallace Binder Ground, Park Drive, Maldon, next season for some or all of our fixtures." (My underlining)

It looks like those of us who have yet to visit Tiptree had better get our skates on! Unsure
