According to the website only the seats need to be purchased in advance, terrace tickets can be bought at the turnstiles. have you heard something different mate?

A thousand apologies Leohoenig.

What an utter fool I am.

Fancy posting on an incorrect thread, I am not worthy.

Well, what do you expect being a Proclaimers fan?

Thanks for that, but it's inaccurate, just phoned Burton Albion and home fans CAN pay at the turnstiles for terrace admission on Friday.

Sorry for the confusion, an Oxford United fan had been moaning to me about having to get a ticket at the last minute ... seems I was misinformed, inadvertently.

Won't that cause even more problems, I thought you could no longer make a game "all ticket" for only one set of fans ?. Won't most Oxford fans without a ticket will still travel and try and get into another section of the ground. And if Woking was anything to go by, many Oxford fans will arrive well before the home fans.

Totally agree, always the risk that will happen, although to be fair in the Football League I've been to quite a few games where it's been all ticket for away fans, but pay on the day for home fans. Been to a few Derby County games like this. It's got to the stage now where it's getting too late to make the game all ticket anyway.

Seems as though the Oxford Mail article is almost deliberately suggesting the game is ALL ticket to dissuade Oxford fans from travelling, whether that is actually deliberate I doubt, but it may work.

Should be an interesting evening all the same.

Totally agree, in fact I'm thinking of subscribing to Setanta just to watch this one game on telly! (if there's time, that is.)

Correct in all details except its an HELLP game! Tongue

The SSML variant of Chalfont [St Peter] are away the same night at St Margaretsbury. Wink
Thinking of getting to that one if the M25 co-operates.....

However ... MadMadMad it looks increasingly like I'm NOT out tonight either - no sign of the 'nearest and dearest' who 'promised' to be home by 18:00h (usually means she turns up about 18:30 Unsure)

My list for this eve was 12; its now down to 3 - with Finch vs Prestwood about to bite the dust! Frown and I'm still not 100% certain about EGR vs Newbury taking place at Runnymead.
..... if she's home in the next 20 mins, I might cut my losses and high-tail it up to Culham Rd for Abingdon T. vs Shortwood - otherwise its probably only 'hopping' (TV wise) between the snorefests at Porto or The Emirates.

Royals, it was a long long day at work yesterday. Chalfont Wasps at Chalfont St Peter is my destination. Thanks for pointing out my schoolboy error Smile

Can anyone tell me what time Darlaston Town v Bustleholme is starting tonight? The WMPL site is not very informative and i cant find a website for either side. I would presume its 19:45 but read recently that the home side has floodlight problems due to vandalism.

It's 19:45 and the opponents are Wednesfield. More chance of the rain scuppering the game than the vandals today I fear.

Lot of rain here in the Midlands this afternoon. Would advise checking on games before travelling where possible - or try and have a back-up game in mind.

My back up for Darlaston is Pelsall Villa v Tividale. If they're both off I'm stuffed.
