Cheltenham v Millwall is an early one in the football league to feel the freeze.

The Football League sent out a firm directive to clubs this week about calling matches off early so that fans do not have to make a wasted journey. Well done to Cheltenham for making an early decision.

Plan C, Davy, has to be a last minute flight to sunnier climes like Spain ! It's going to be that kind of weekend, I'm afraid.

Anything south of the north of England or east of Cornwall might well be league grounds with undersoil heating, if you can afford a ticket !. Even the south coast around Southampton water that looked though it might have a chance went down to minus 4 or 5 last night, the same tonight and only plus 4 or 5 at best tomorrow does not look good. The north Kent coast looked though it may have had a chance but the temperatures their on the Met Office site are not as good as they were.

Latest update on the Met Office everywhere in England and Wales except for Anglesey will be freezing at some point between 6pm tonight and 9am tomorrow morning, most places will be minus 3 to 4 for most of the hours of darkness.

Mitoo / Hellenic League already has games off at Milton, Malmesbury and Holyport plus three reserve games.

ISTHMIAN 1 South

Worthing v Met Police called off this PM

http://rebels.worthingfc.com/...id=978&Itemid=39

.... Looking on Mitoo for ISTHMIAN, every game in the Premier (apart from Carshalton v Harrow) has a pitch inspection planned for tomorrow - and EVERY game in the Div One South has one.
Not sure about Div One North - currently only inspections indicated at Potters Bar & Witham

Few more off in the Hellenic now - Cup match @ Chalfont Wasps and League games @

Fairford
Hungerford (shame about this one - table top clash)
Letcombe
WBT
Prestwood

UPDATE

Games also now off @ Carterton & Harrow Hill

For those who like to watch football in the Colchester & East Essex League these matches are off.

League Cup 1st round
FCC XI v Nayland Rangers (So bang goes plan B for me! Unsure)
FC Clacton 'A' v Abbey Fields

Premier Division
Harwich Rangers v Harwich & Parkeston 'A'
Wormingford Wanderers v Oyster

Division 1
Real Ravensdale v Castle

Division 2
Eastcliff v Wormingford Wanderers Reserves

So far the only match that's off in the Eastern Counties League is the following

Division 1

Hadleigh United v Godmanchester Rovers

I'm just hoping that if all else fails FC Clacton v Fakenham Town is on Unsure

1-0-1-0-4-25-40-65-181-289=606

Last game: Mon 20/8/18
4. Basford United 1 Hednesford Town 2
