The notes I made at the time say that because of a four month floodlight ban, the 73/74 competition wasn't completed. Clubs had too much of a fixture backlog to play.

Last night's match programme at Horsham has a two page article on the PMFL, a bit of background about the competition but mainly a brief season-by-season narrative of Horsham's participation. It corroborates what was said above about the 73/4 competition.

Hopelessly late I'm afraid but I've just been searching my old books of "matches I've watched" and found these two PMFL results and dates:

3 February 1976 Redhill 2 Tooting & Mitcham 1
2 March 1976 Rainham Town 1 Leyton-Wingate 0

Thanks Steve.

Would you know if the scoring system of the previous season (74/75) of:
3 points for a home win, 4 for an away win, and a bonus point for a win by 3 or more goals
was still in operation for that 75/76 season ?

No sorry Dingo, I only found those results in a list of matches I'd seen for that season, no other details known I'm afraid.
