I was at the Bayern v Hoffenheim game last Friday and can report that the visitors looked by far the better side for long periods, despite losing to an injury time Luca Toni goal. In Ibisevic they have a natural goalscorer and with big, powerful forwards such as Demba Ba they look the real deal. Genuine challengers for the title. The Allianz Arena (stop Frottmaning on the S-Bahn) is a splendid venue, especially when approaching on a evening game - it's like something from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The attendance was given as 69k, the capacity, although there were surprisingly a few empty seats around. Programme for 1.50 euro and admission at 40 euro. Couldn't make my other games at Red Bull and Unterhaching for various reasons...
