Bill Shorthouse Can't Post or Reply Privately

Maybe some of the older members will remember Bill who played for Wolves between 1941-1957. Sadly he passed away aged 86 on Saturday. He was an intergral part of the side that not only dominated the League, but also played a part in the 'Floodlit Friendly' games which went on to form the European Cup.

Born and living most of his life locally, he was also a war hero, having been injured on the beaches on D-Day. There's a better write-up of his experiences on the Wolves official site -
