3rd Round draw made earlier today.

Back v Dingwall Thistle
Pentland United v Maryburgh
Rendall v Castletown
Halkirk v Carloway (will be played at neutral venue)
Kirkwall Rovers v Thurso Swifts
Golspie Stafford v Avoch
Wick Thistle v Ness (will be played at neutral venue)
John O'Groats v Kirkwall Thorfinn

All scheduled for Saturday 21st June, except Back v Dingwall Thistle which is scheduled for Friday 27th June.

The draw was also made ahead right up to the semi-finals. These are not yet shown on www.hacup.co.uk, but are listed on www.thesafa.org.uk.

Not surprising. AA Route Planner states 12 hours journey for the away teams in both matches.

Think you'll find ferry schedules are the main problem, particularly getting home on a Saturday for the away sides. This is a recurrent problem in the HAC but the travelling difficulties involved, and overcome, only add to its attraction.

Also gives chances of doubles, as the Western Isles games on the mainland (and to a lesser extent those of the Orkney teams) often kick off around 12 noon to 1pm to enable them to catch Sat ferries back
