There are people at Dagenham & Redbridge who feel that Boston should never have been promoted to the Football League in the first place due to things that happened off the field.

Indeed so. While I personally think we should now let bygones be bygones you only need to look at the D&R forum to see the glee with which some are viewing this ruling. Some won't be happy while Boston United is still in existence, mainly because of the huge amount of gloating that went on at the time from a number of so-called Boston supporters, most of whom I suspect were just glory hunters who have long since vanished.

My main concern is when justice is going to finally catch up with Steve Evans, who was, by all accounts, one of the chief architcts of Boston's earlier misdemeanours, and yet no matter how many times he's found guilty of various offences, often by his own admission, he is regularly let off with suspended sentences by both the High Court and the FA.

Has anything been confirmed about this yet ?

I APOLOGISE UNRESERVEDLY TO EACH AND EVERY PERSON ON THIS FORUM WHO HAS FELT LET-DOWN BY MY INIMICABLE AND DEPLORABLE BEHAVIOUR OF OCTOBER 28th. 2009. ESPECIALLY TO BRIAN, WHO IS A MARVELLOUS GENTLEMAN AND IS THE LAST PERSON HERE WHO SHOULD HAVE TO PUT UP WITH SUCH UNDESERVED PERSONAL CHARACTER-ASSASSINATION. LET IT BE KNOWN THAT A PRIVATE PERSONAL APOLOGY WAS SENT, BUT WAS SEEN INSUFFICIENT. FAIR ENOUGH.
