I can see them...I think you have to go into your settings and allow signatures, as that is where the links are. Putting them there means they should always be visible, meaning people don't have to scroll through dozens of pages and hundreds of posts trying to find them.

Hendon are the wrong colour, you;ve transferred them, not reprieved them
Mickleover Sports will be Mckleover next season
And get rid of all the AFC/FCs - they're just off putting, not sure why but they are.




Steps 1-5 look good, although has it been confirmed that the NPL at Step 4 is reverting to North and South?

Your Step 6 projections, however, in my opinion are questionable, at best. Why are you projecting so many relegations from Step 6, whilst promoting multiple clubs from the same Step 7 feeder divisions, to replace them. Has the one club per step 7 division rule been completely removed? And some of the clubs you are projecting to move up, looks incredibly optimistic, if not a little unrealistic? Grangetown, Woodthorpe Park? Yet have ignored the trio in the Northants Combo (Woodford, Thrapston and S&L Corby) who probably have a much more realistic chance of stepping back up to Step 6 next summer?

Woodthorpe Park Rangers are ground sharing with Basford United this season and yes they are ambitious.

Windy - my point about Hendon is that you are showing them AND Bamber Bridge as reprieved at Step 3. Surely Bury's demise would only result in one reprieve per step?


As for multiple promotions from the same step 7 division - I think they would only do that once reprieves have been used up. For instance in the Northern League, Durham City's projected relegation is coming as the result of SIX promotions into the division (two per Step 7 feeder), and I just can't see any chance of this happening, unless the FA just seriously have it for Durham City for some reason...


By all means promote extra once reprieves have been used, but the example above doesn't't sit right with me, looks unrealistic and sticks out like a sore thumb at present.


And the Northants Combo sides 'not pulling up trees' - the three sides I mentioned are all sitting in the top five of the Northants Combo at the moment. One of those three is bound to apply.

I asked the FA if 2 teams could be promoted from step 7 leagues and teams relegated from step 6. They said it was possible and that’s good enough for me. I’ll look at the Northants league and ask the clubs if they are applying.
The relegation rules from step 3, has the 2 best 3rd bottom placed sides on a ppg basis staying up. So they aren’t actually reprieved, they are staying up anyway. I’ve reprieved the 3rd best 3rd bottom side because of Bury. I’m showing the initial 2 teams as being reprieved for indication purposes.

Yes I can see, for example, if two Dorset Premier League sides were the only Wessex area clubs at Step 7 applying for promotion they might promote them both and relegate the bottom Wessex side.

My point is the extreme approach you're taking in promoting SIX clubs and relegating Durham City just simply will not happen!

I'm guessing what Sarumio is getting at, is the projection could reflect what is most likely to happen, rather than a theoretical absolute on the edges of possibility outcome.

I don't have an issue anyway, as it's all good fun until we get later in the season, and perhaps the FA give more guidance on what version of their rules they are going to apply.

For what it's worth (a matter of 100 yards or so) the Brimsdown pin should be at Ware FC, not Wodson Park athletics track pitch.

Strange that you are allocating Langford and Stotfold to the Combined Counties Division One.

The step 4 teams have home advantage in the playoffs. Also Holbeach aren’t 2nd, Loughborough Uni are and are ineligible for promotion. The FA won’t allow the next in-line to enter the playoffs. So it’ll be down to the league committees discretion. I’m taking it the the best ppg team will be reprieved at step 4. Hopefully this won’t happen and a team will end up overtaking Uni.

You know this for sure? I could have sworn that down to 3rd.-place would be allowed this season.

Take out Colliers Wood, Holbeach, Barnstaple and Romford and that'd leave you the 10 teams for the playoffs.

I see Loughborough University won at Durham in the BUCS League the other day. Surely they have a claim that this is the educational side of the club and the team that are in the UCL are run separately, purely as a football entity. No doubt that many players feature for them both but it may be a way round the promotion ban if it indeed exists.

The football club would need to become a separate entity from the university, and register as a Limited Company.

There are criteria Loughborough Athletic Union have in order to become a member of the football club. First off, you have to be a member of the Student Union and enrolled at Loughborough University or Loughborough College.

It's a nice football setup they have at the Uni. The stadium is definitely of the standard required to play higher, even if it is a little... sterile?
It's just unfortunate that other students at the university don't attend matches. I've looked at their attendance against us last season and it seems wildly out. Officially it was 207 but I can't remember seeing half that many in the stand and terraces, and that's including a couple of dozen referees who had a meeting there that night.

It probably makes sense to shift Combined Counties Div One Woodley United (Reading) to play in the Hellenic Division One. A swap with Langley (who currently ground-share at Holyport near Maidenhead) makes sense.

Whats happened to Leicester Road on your maps? Should they get promoted I sincerely hope your projections are wrong. Brocton, Lichfield and Uttoxeter into the UCL and LR into the MFL with visits to Oswestery when Lutterworth and the Leicester teams are 10 miles away or less?

I know they're only projections but I do hope they're wrong..

Yes Oliver that's the one I'm on about thanks I'm surprised you've have same slack over it as this mentioned last season about having 2 Midland leagues in step 3 with generally a good response to it I suppose last season a few people brought it up. These idiots should be ashamed of themselves (for all winching and whining over making 2 Midland leagues in step 3) Instead of saying and more importantly stating something positive and true like thank you Oliver for that decent reply wanting to improve step 3 by making it 2 Central leagues in it. I think its obvious that all of Bristol teams will be heading Hellenic in the next couple of years.

But could Bridport stay Western to make the move easier for the FA, as the maps show its mighty close that boundary in Bristol?

I don't think that it will be all the Bristol team going to the Hellenic - only those registered in Gloucestershire. A number of Bristol teams are registered in Somerset. The dividing line being the 1908 county boundaries. However, I have heard rumours that the Wiltshire clubs are also going to the Hellenic.
