Stevie Chalmers (Celtic, Morton, Partick, Scotland) or Reply Privately

Another of the Lisbon Lions to leave us in less than a week. Stevie scored the winning goal against Inter in 1967 and won many trophies during his time at Celtic. He was 83.

Re: [John Treleven] Stevie Chalmers (Celtic, Morton, Partick, Scotland) or Reply Privately

Just to add to the list of representative honours – Stevie Chalmers won a Junior Scotland cap during his time at Ashfield. He played in a 5:0 win against Northern Ireland on 24 January 1959. He was declared “man of the match” and scored a goal that was described as "a 30 yard burst down the middle."
