The definition of evil Can't Post or Reply Privately

I am really on one now as the story about Ginger Minge flying by private jet to Germany to slaughter wild boar has got to me big time so I am setting up a mass debate....

When a killer strikes, be it of children, gay men, prostitutes, schoolgirls or anyone else for that matter we as a culture condemn them as 'pure evil' and many scream for the death penalty to be brought back. These people rightly are locked away to protect the public and themselves, but they have no choice in what they do as their lives have been ruined by a chemical imbalance in the brain which dictates their movements. It is sad and tragic as their lives and those who they kill have been ruined.
So in my opinion they are not evil, only sick as they have no option but to do what they do.
However, we also have a section of our society who gain immense pleasure in chasing, shooting or ripping to pieces wild animals, whilst dressed in their finery. These people, as far as we know, do not have a chemical imbalance in the brain and therefore choose voluntarily to kill animals for pleasure and so, I suggest, it is they who are evil. This would seem to include the entire Royal Family and most of the chinless crew who are currently buggering up the nation's gene pool.
Is anyone with me on this?

Excellent post, although with regard to the first paragraph, it needs to be added that a chemical imbalance in the brain is not always the reason for murderers killing children or other vulnerable people. Sometimes it is because the murderers have not been shown any love by their parents or have been abused by them or other people in a position of trust.

Eh?
I'm confused, are you saying that hunting is worse than rape, murder and paedophilia?
Ok, you don't have to like the royal family, but these views seem a bit extreme. Not helped by support form Chris1963 who disgraced himself with that disgustingly racist post in the royal wedding thread, that he still hasn't clarified.

I thought initially the OP was referring to Sarah Ferguson but she's probably
shaven her minge with added vajazzle....

Unsurprisingly, none of the Lefty press mentioned that this was probably a cull
and the boar - which from experience tastes very nice - were used for food,
rather than left to become part of the Brandenburg food chain.

Wasn't ripping animals to death by canines at the behest of others,
regardless of chin size, banned in this country a few years back?

Kerry, you need to keep off the sauce mate - it makes you talk bollocks.

Fletch, I am tee total so sauce is not the issue.
Read some of the stuff about what he kills and where. Water Buffalo FFS ? Yum yum. And, no I not saying hunting and killing animals is worse than killing children. I am saying those who kill animals have a choice and do so for pleasure...although the right wing press will of course call it land conservation or some such.
Serial killers do not have a choice.

Surely the motivation for a hunter or a serial killer is the same.
They both get pleasure from killing. Whether they can help it or not presumably depends on the individual.

Strange you should be mentioning this Kerry as only this morning we were talking about the fact that I met the Queen 38 years ago. To me she was then a middle-aged woman being manipulated by a bunch of arseholes surrounding her with stupid cheesy grins all over their faces. Since then we have gone through the Diana syndrome and death which brought the country very near to hysterical lunacy. Those days in 1997 were VERY worrying. While we still have the elderly establishment in power nothing will be done about toning down the excesses you mention.

Surprised at you Fletch, I know you were at the Express for years which had its tongue up every royal orifice for decades but hunting with dogs? Really?
I am hoping you are on a wind up because I ain't. Killing animals for pleasure has no place in this century's culture and it is evil, pure and simple. One of the truly sickening characters around here is master of the Quantock Staghounds Bill Fewings who is one those totally arrogant bastards who doesn't even bother to open his mouth when he speaks. My blood freezes whenever he is in the news because I know that another stag has been tortured and ripped to buggery.
Get your arse out of the boozer now and again and see what goes on in the real world, cos it ain't pretty.
