With Andover seemingly dropping to Step 6, will this now leave room for a single reprieve at Step 5?

It's now confirmed that Andover Town will not be taking promotion (and likely to be demoted to Step 6). As a result, AFC Mansfield are promoted to the NPL East from Step 5 due to being the third placed side with the second best PPG.
Other adjustments have been made at Step 4:
Peterborough Sports and Yaxley moved to Southern League East
Cinderford Town moved to Southern League West
Chasetown moved to Northern Premier League West
Brighouse Town moved to Northern Premier League East

Will Harrogate Railway Athletic and Brigg Town get a reprieves NCEL now?

Or will Andover dropping to level 6 make it much more complicated?

I’m sure Harrogate RA will be reprieved. The step 6 issue is a lot more complicated & opens up the possibility of Darlington RA being reprieved. As they won’t be classed as a bottom 2 placed side & Northallerton being laterally moved to the NCEL. But it’ll be down to how the F.A. looks at it!

Seems to me there's a number of teams who need to thank Andover as they're now in divisions that make more sense .

Would it not go to AFC Liverpool based on highest PPG or would the reprieve stay in division?

That’s a good question & god knows what criteria the LC are using to determine reprieves etc

Mike Amos has posted on his blog this morning. That the F.A. may now only relegate 2 teams from each of the step 5 & 6 leagues.

Can you elaborate Windy. That’s a very vague statement….

Which season, now or next year, relegate 2 from Step 6? How, it isn’t going to be full and most of the teams that could come up are coming up this summer, so I’d imagine any movement between steps 6 and 7 next summer will be fairly minimal.

As I said, very vague, please provide more detail.

It doesn't mention anything about relegation from Step 6, only Step 5, and it relates to this season.

The blog is well worth reading once you have found it.

Rather than looking where you might expect blog entries to be located better to search out the author of the blog.

Who do Met Police think they will swap with? Stratford perhaps with Clacton On Sea going in the Southern Central?
What about the other M25 clubs, Walton Casuals, Staines, Harrow and Hendon wouldn't they also want to swap?
Who do Didcot think they would swap with now Cinderford in SL W? No obvious candidates for me, Guernsey perhaps?

I think they will swap them and Bognor Regis Town around as I think Hitvhin or Stratford would appeal also either Bishop's Stortford or Brightlingsea Regent would appeal as well.

I am sure that Bognor Regis Town are comfortable with their present placing. What happens if they appeal against a move?

Exactly. Short of testing the whole thing up and starting again there's no reason Not Police shouldn't be in the southern. Part of the problem is they're used to getting preferential treatment in the isthmian.

So I haven't done a detailed mileage comparison, but Evesham requesting a move into the West would on the face of it seem to add to their travelling. They are looking to swap a couple of trips to Cambridgeshire next season with 3 trips to Portsmouth and Southampton and the Bideford and Barnstaple journeys. Whatever makes them happy I suppose

It may not be simply a matter of mileage - perhaps the quality of roads comes into it as well? Better to take slightly longer journeys on the M5 than tedious cross-country trips into Herts, Beds and Cambs on single carriageway A-roads.
