I'd be surprised if the 3rd bottom team gets relegated when the division is already one short with 21 teams. Just in case any further reprieves get handed out the bottom 2 meet in the final game on Saturday - Swaffham Town (26 pts) v FC Clacton (28 pts).

Elsewhere Biggleswade FC, already promoted, can clinch the Spartan South Midlands League Division 1 title on Wednesday night with a win at Wodson Park.

South West Peninsula League Premier Division:
26/4 Tavistock (1st P36 Pts 89) v Bodmin Town (3rd P36 Pts 86)
A win guarantees Tavistock the title, a draw all but secures it due to their far superior goal difference to Bodmin and 2nd placed Saltash (P37 Pts 87).

I'll be up for that but I hope it's still a crucial game since Longridge have only one point from their last two games.

Plenty still to play for at both ends of Welsh League Division 3, Llantwit Major need 6 points from their final 4 games to take the title, a win at Chepstow on Saturday will take them above current leaders STM Sports who only have one game left. Chepstow (5th P27 Pts 43) are among 6 teams who can catch Panteg, currently 3rd but have finished their season with 46 points from 30 games, for the 3rd promotion place. Two other teams in the hunt meet on Saturday:
Caerau (4th P27 Pts 44) v Penrhiwceiber Rangers (6th P28 Pts 41)

In the battle to avoid going out of the Welsh League, 2nd bottom Cwm Welfare (P29 Pts 23) are relegated but any two of three teams could join them with two crucial clashes this week:
29/4 Tredegar Town (bottom P25 Pts 22) v Caerleon (3rd bottom P27 Pts 24)
03/5 Caerleon v Ynysygerwn (4th bottom P29 Pts 29)

Only ever two promotion places from Welsh League Division 3, so these matches don't have quite the same crunchiness.

And there are only 2 relegation places (because of Barry's promotion with no club making the reverse trip), so Cwm aren't relegated yet.

There used to be 3 promotion places from Welsh League Division 3 until 2015, I wasn't aware it had changed to 2 until you pointed it out. After looking at previous years' tables, Ammanford Town were the last 3rd placed team promoted in 2015, Bridgend Street the first 3rd placed team not to be promoted last year. It seems odd they still have 3 up 3 down between divisions 1 and 2 but only 2 up 2 down between divisions 2 and 3Crazy.

They made the change so that the number of teams going up/down is the same as in North Wales. 3-up/3-down between the Cymru Alliance and its feeders, and 2-up/2-down between the divisions within the feeders.

Big match in the Staffs County Senior League Div 1 on Weds 3rd May between second placed Foley Meir entertain top of the league Stone Doms.

With Foley four points behind Stone but with one game in hand, its likely that the winner of this game will go on to take the title this year. The clubs remaining fixtures are:

Stone D: away at Foley Meir and away at 5th placed MMU: MMU could do with the points for a fourth place finish.

Foley Meir are home to Stone and then at home to Redgate Clayton Res and then at home to Milton United who have hit some really bad form recently.

If you have not been to Foley Meir, its a nice ground with banking behind one goal and along half of both sides. There is a small stand and a reasonable clubhouse. The car park is of a good size. No gate was taken when Penkridge visited there a few weeks back. As there are no floodlights, kick off is scheduled for 18.30.

After tonight's result in the Touchline Suffolk & Ipswich League Division 1 finished AFC Hoxne 14 Ipswich Valley Rangers 0 the league table now stands with 1 game left to play for the top 4 with 2 being promoted:

Benhall St Mary 59 pts g/diff 100-27 (+73) effectively champions
Sporting '87 56 pts g/diff 71-20 (+51)
AFC Hoxne 54 pts g/diff 83-27 (+56)
Claydon 52 pts g/diff 75-30 (+45) can't get promoted

Saturday's games KO: 14:30 are:
AFC Hoxne v Benhall St Mary

I intend on posting the Senior Division situation tomorrow night after Wenhaston have played Achilles.

And there are only 2 relegation places (because of Barry's promotion with no club making the reverse trip), so Cwm aren't relegated yet.

I take it the knockdown effect of no team coming down to replace Barry means only the bottom team (Newport City) will be relegated from Division 2 so nothing riding on Wednesday's Dinas Powys v Aberbargoed Buds clash.

The state of play at the bottom of Division 3, where 2 go down, ahead of Wednesday's Caerleon v Ynysygerwn clash:

Ynysygerwn 29-29
Tredegar 26-25
Caerleon 28-24
Cwm Welfare 29-23

A point for Ynysygerwn will secure their safety; a Caerleon win will relegate Cwm Welfare.

Saturday 6th May:

Llantwit Major (P28 Pts 66) will clinch Welsh League Division 3 title with a win at home to Trethomas Bluebirds. Title rivals STM Sports (P29 Pts 64) don't play their final game until next Saturday, after Llantwit Major have finished their season

At the bottom of Division 3, where 2 go down, Tredegar Town can secure their Welsh League safety with a win at home to Trefelin and relegate rivals Caerleon and Cwm Welfare who both must win their final games on Saturday, even if they do Tredegar have another three games in the next week to get the two points they need, their goal differnce is better than Caerleon but worse than Cwm Welfare.
Bottom 3 as it stands:

Tredegar 26-25
Caerleon 29-24
Cwm Welfare 29-23

Saturday 6th May:

Caerau v Cwm Welfare
Tredegar v Trefelin
Treharris v Caerleon

The Play-Off between the Neath League and Swansea League champions for a place in next season's Welsh League Division 3 has been confirmed for Saturday 13th May:
Cwm Wanderers v Team Swansea - 1430 @ Garden Village FC

Christ the King, Pld 29 Pts 61
AEI Rugby, Pld 28 Pts 59

AEI Rugby will play Woodlands WMC (A) Tuesday
AEI Rugby will play Christ the King (H) Saturday

In Herts County League, Division One
AFC Oaklands are four points ahead of FC Lemsford, with two each to play.
So if FC Lemsford get a win on Tuesday (Ickleford Home), and Oaklands do not win on Wednesday (Bengeo away), it will go to the final day
FC Lemsford v AFC Oaklands.

This looks like being the potential title decider in the Mid Essex League:

Tuesday 16th May
Mid Essex League Premier Division
Beacon Hill Rovers v Braintree & Bocking United

After yesterday's results, Braintree are the only side who can catch Beacon Hill, even though they are in 4th place. Braintree have two games before then - one of whom is away to the side in 3rd. If they win those but lose to Beacon Hill, they win the title. Any other result, and it goes down to Braintree's double header with Felsted Rovers on the 20th.

Still no announcement re points deductions so as things stand Wren Rovers vs Longridge Town remains a West Lancs title decider, with the teams level on points albeit the home side have the advantage of a much better goal difference.
For those whose choice of game may be influenced by such things, Wrens are advertising 3 admission to include programme and raffle.
