St Benedicts (North Lancs/Cumbria) have two midweek home fixtures this month:

Wednesday 13th April vs Aspatria (2nd v 1st)
Tuesday 26th April vs Hawcoat Park

Advisable to check both before travelling. Aspatria game, listed as 1500 which I doubt, is mentioned on both clubs' Pitchero sites but not RFU site while Hawcoat Park date is on RFU but not Pitchero!

The forum on Aspatria's site is a good source of info on all matters in the North Lancs/Cumbria division, as officials from several clubs contribute, and will probably have updates nearer the time. Bennies have such a backlog on fixtures, partly due to their cup run, but mainly because their pitch is especially susceptable to waterlogging. They will be praying for some dry weather ahead of the national semi-final this weekend.

In Wales plenty of midweek matches in the SWALEC Leagues as teams play catch-up after so many postponements this season. There are some in the week leading up to the Carmarthenshire Hop which may suit those arriving early.

20/4 Ynysddu v Cwmbran (1900)
27/4 Cwmbran v Abertillery Blaenau/Gwent (1915)
27/4 Pontypool United v Abertysswg Falcons (2000)

Division Two East Central:
13/4 Llantrisant v Dowlais (1915)

Division Two West Central:
13/4 Maesteg Celtic v Cwmllynfell (1830)
20/4 Nantymoel v Maesteg Celtic (1830)

4/5 Penlan v Maesteg Celtic (1830)

Division Two West:

27/4 Pontyberem v Tycroes (1915)
4/5 Penclawdd v Amman United (1915)

Please check these fixtures again before travelling if planning to attend any of them. The kick-off times I haven't mentioned are currently listed on WRU site as 1430 which is unlikely in midweek, hopefully they will change nearer the date.

Just seen that the Norfolk Plate semi final between UEA and Norwich Medics will be played at North Walsham on Wednesday with an 8pm kick off.

Watford FC supporter hence the name also follow Hull FC but rarely get to see either these days.

Have now visited over 800 grounds, progress in recent years has been rather slow and will continue to be as things stand.

Looking at the draw this actually Medics home fixture and not as listed on UEA's Facebook page.

Missed a game I could have got to last Friday had I known about it:
25/11 Broadstreet 9-14 Nuneaton - National League 3 Midlands
Only found out about this when looking at Nuns website tonight as their match vs Derby, which should be on 2nd XV pitch as Nuneaton Town FC are also home, is one of my options for this Saturday.

At least I can bring news of another Friday fixture in the new year:
20th January - Chard v Weston-Super-Mare - South-West 1 West (1930)
Ground in town centre close to Chard Town FC. Don't expect it to be a close contest though as it's bottom v top and Weston won the first game 70-0.

Kick-off is 7pm. Entry free. Darlington issued on the occasion of my only visit to BM for RU but they've since suffered a couple of relegations. This will be the club's first game at the ground since its revamp.

Midlands 1 West:

Friday 13th January - Sutton Coldfield v Moseley Oak (1930)
Friday 24th March - Sutton Coldfield v Bournville (1945)

These matches will presumably be played on the new international standard pitch where I saw them last season as opposed to the regular 1st XV pitch which I ticked in November and doesn't have lights.

This Saturday, 14th January, Sutton Coldfield is hosting Leicester Tigers v Bristol Premiership Academy fixture, kick-off is 1230 allowing for a possible double with football on 3G, Sutton Coldfield Town and Boldmere St Michaels both at home.
